Cedar Hills is a compact bedroom community on the lower slopes of Mount Timpanogos that grew from about 570 people in 1980 to nearly 10,000 by 2010, so almost all of its homes are 1990s-2000s construction with a median year built around 2004. The typical home is a two-story or rambler on a suburban lot, with premium homes ringing the Cedar Hills Golf Club in The Cedars community.
