Who we work for

Four kinds of commercial client, one crew

Offices and coworking

Reception walls, conference rooms, corridors. Textile and vinyl wallcoverings that survive rolling chairs and moving day.

Hospitality

Hotel corridors and guest rooms, restaurant dining rooms and bars, custom murals and scenic panels that photograph well.

Medical and dental

Type II vinyl that meets cleaning protocols in exam rooms, waiting rooms and corridors; scheduled around patient hours.

Retail, fitness and multifamily

Feature walls, amenity spaces, leasing offices and model units, delivered on the general contractor's schedule.

Builders and GCs

Takeoffs from plans, submittals, product data, sequencing with painters and millwork, punch-list responsiveness.

Property managers

Repairs, seam re-adhesion, matching an existing vinyl in a corridor, and full replacement at turnover.

Materials

Type II vinyl is a different trade from a powder room.

Commercial wallcovering comes 52–54 inches wide on 30-yard bolts, weighs twice what residential paper does, and is hung with heavy-duty clay or clear commercial adhesives over a mildew-resistant primer. Seams are double-cut. Inside corners are wrapped, outside corners are protected. It takes a two-person crew, a proper paste machine, and a schedule that respects an occupied building.

We install Type I and Type II vinyl from the major mills, acoustic and textile wallcoverings, digital murals on commercial-grade non-woven, and specialty products including wood veneer and metallic laminates. We follow each manufacturer's published hanging instructions and keep the product data on file for your warranty.

Pricing commercial work

Commercial wallcovering is bid by the yard or by the square foot from the drawings, with the material specified by the designer or supplied by us through trade accounts. As a national reference, complex and commercial installation runs $12–$16+ per square foot installed for specialty goods, and standard Type II vinyl considerably less; the number depends on wall height, occupancy, after-hours requirements and the product. Send the plans and the finish schedule and we'll return a written bid.

Insurance certificates naming your entity, W-9s, lien releases and warranty documentation are standard on every job.

FAQ

Commercial questions

Can you work after hours or on weekends?

Yes. Occupied offices, clinics, hotels and restaurants are usually installed nights or weekends. We build it into the bid.

Do you carry commercial insurance?

Yes — general liability, with certificates naming your company or the owner on request, and workers' compensation coverage.

Can you estimate from drawings?

Yes. Most commercial estimates are yardage takeoffs from plans and the finish schedule, confirmed with a site walk before goods are ordered.

Do you supply the wallcovering?

Either. Many projects are designer-specified and owner-supplied; we can also source Type II vinyl and specialty goods through trade accounts and handle receiving and inspection.

What about repairs to existing vinyl?

Seam re-adhesion, patching, and matching a discontinued pattern with the closest available product — property managers call us for exactly this.
