The reference brand for to-the-trade natural and textured wallcoverings: grasscloth, hemp, sisal, arrowroot, raffia, silk, cork, wood veneer, metallic leaf, and Type II performance vinyls that mimic naturals. Family-founded in 1976 with ten grasscloths in a garage; now stocks about one million yards in New Jersey with same-day or 1-2 day shipping on much of the line and flagship showrooms in New York, London, Paris and Singapore.
How you buy it. Phillip Jeffries sells to the trade, so homeowners usually order through an interior designer, a showroom or a retailer that carries the line. We can source it for you as part of a Design Session, or hang rolls you have already bought.
What it costs to buy. Sold by the yard in 8-yard bolts. Core grasscloths seen at about $42-$45 per yard through authorized dealers (roughly $320-$480 per 8-yard bolt); specialty lines (Rivets, wood veneer, metallic leaf, embroidered raffia) run considerably higher.

Samples. Standard memo sample 8 x 5 in; CFA (cutting for approval) 4.5 x 2.75 in from the actual lot; 'WOW' samples 8.5 x 8.5 in (up to 25 x 25 in) printed on paper for large-scale patterns. Samples are ordered online by trade-account holders; PJ says the fastest route is its website.
Lead time and returns. About one million yards in stock; stocked items ship UPS same day or within 1-2 days (naturals) and 2-5 days (mill-stocked vinyls), plus one day to remote locations. All sales final, no returns on overage; defect claims within 30 days of invoice and only if work stopped after three strips.
