An installer's guide to Morris & Co.: how the papers hang, what it costs to have them put up on a northern Utah wall, the patterns people ask for most, and where to buy them.
The original William Morris company (founded 1861 as Morris, Marshall, Faulkner & Co., renamed Morris & Co. in 1875) and the definitive source of Arts & Crafts pattern: dense, hand-drawn botanicals and birds such as Strawberry Thief (1883), Willow Bough (1887), Pimpernel (1876), Acanthus (1875), Golden Lily (J.H. Dearle, 1899) and Fruit (1864). Today's papers are printed from the historic archive and log books, with frequent recolourings and designer reinterpretations.
How you buy it. Morris & Co. sells direct from its own website and through retailers, so you can order the rolls yourself and hand them to us, or send us the pattern link and we will confirm the roll count before you buy.
What it costs to buy. $378-$460 per 10.05 m (11 yd) roll at US retail; $404-$460 per roll on the brand's own US site; discount US dealers advertise about $270 per roll on sale.
